Delivery drivers by city
What a delivery driver does
Delivery drivers with their own vehicle — bike, motorbike, car or van — for last-mile deliveries, one-off routes and order peaks. For shops and restaurants they are the backup that stops you losing sales on a Friday night or in the middle of a busy season.
Most requested jobs for a delivery driver
Extra delivery capacity at peak times
Fridays and Saturdays, campaigns, sales or Christmas.
Last-mile routes
Parcel deliveries or deliveries of your own products by area, using the driver's vehicle.
Urgent collections and deliveries
Taking documents, parts or an order that has to arrive today.
Delivery for restaurants
Home delivery without depending on the platforms or their commission.
Emergency: what to do until the delivery driver arrives
For a delivery today, say how many drops there are, the area, the size of the parcels and whether you need a vehicle with a box or an insulated container. If it is food orders, agree how payment is collected on delivery and who is responsible if an order arrives damaged.
